Austin local and lifelong dog lover Gage Freeman started Turd Nerds with a simple mission: to help busy pet owners spend more time playing with their pups and less time dodging landmines. What began as a small side hustle quickly grew into a full-fledged operation built on trust, consistency, and a little nerdy charm.
Today, Turd Nerds proudly serves residential homes, HOAs, and pet-friendly businesses throughout Greater Austin. We offer one-time cleanups, weekly scooping plans, deep cleaning, and yard deodorizing — all backed by dependable service and a smile.

Founder Gage Freeman, a proud Texas State graduate with a degree in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, started this business with one mission: to help fellow Austinites enjoy their yards again. What began as a one-man hustle quickly grew into a reliable, community-first pooper scooper service that’s all about quality, consistency, and keeping things just a little nerdy.
